Pewsey Vale The Contours Riesling

Pewsey Vale Rieslings are renowned for their delicacy, finesse and intense lemon and lime characteristics, and the high levels of well-balanced acids that contribute to their extraordinary ageing potential. Riesling from the Eden Valley in 1997 was considered to be as good as the legendary 1984 and 1986 vintages. A long, slow ripening period achieved high sugar levels which were balanced with outstanding levels of acidity. This resulted in a very generously flavoured wine that is undoubtedly one of the best Pewsey Vale Rieslings of the decade.
