 | Gewürztraminer Good rains for the beginning of the 2004/2005 growing season predicted a good vintage. By mid January the skies had cleared and no subsequent rain, combined with balmy temperatures for the remainder of the season, meant that flavours ripened over an even and long period. The result is wines with excellent intensity of flavour and structure.
Pewsey Vale Eden Valley Gewürztraminer 2005 is pale straw with lime green hues. The nose offers spicy cinnamon rose water fragrance which lead into a pristine palate of perfumed rose petals that finishes long and fresh.
This wine is drinking beautifully now but will also cellar well for up to ten years.
